This is my shaded hand. We did 4 hands and picked one to trace. Once we traced it we used graphite and shaded different areas of the hand to make it look more 3D and more realistic. We gave it a light background to make the hand itself pop.

This is my blind contour. With this activity I put a piece of paper inside of a paper bag. Then, we looked in a mirror or drew the person across from us; without looking. I had 5 minutes to draw the faces and we did 3 faces. This activity was difficult because it felt like my hand had moved a lot when in reality it had only moved a centimeter. It was also hard to remember where my place was once i picked the pen up. After we finished we added color and a background. I chose a more abstract way of coloring, I didn't try and make them look like faces I used more shading and ombre.
This is my upside man, I drew him without knowing what it would turn out like. I put a paper in the back of my sketchbook and drew the lines as I saw them. Once I was finished with the outline I used different line variations to make certain areas pop. Then, I used a rainbow effect with oil pastels and blended them in together to make it look more together and transitional. This activity was easier doing it upside down without knowing what the picture was. I think it was easier because I didn't have my perception of a hand in my head, I had Picasso's perception of a hand in my head. that made it easier that all I had to do was trace those lines, I didn't have to make something new.
